Today marks the day where Jesus Christ overcame death to rise again as King! We serve a risen Savior! He is not in the grave! He is alive. He is active. And, He wants a relationship with us. I pray that wherever you are today in your walk with God, that you realize this simple fact. He is not dead; He is alive. We won't make it to heaven by living our life following rules and being "good" people. We make it to heaven by knowing the Son of God. And, how do we get to know Him? By speaking to Him, by listening to Him, by spending time in His word! He is not in the grave, He is here with us!He came to the earth for a purpose: To glorify His Father's name and make a way for us. He has done that. In the most brutal death He could endure, He has made a way. He has opened the heavens. Will we follow Him the rest of the journey? Jesus has risen. His job on the cross is finished, but our role in following Him and loving Him is only beginning.
Let us follow Him, trust Him, love Him, and glorify Him on this earth until our time is finished too.
